In the emmi nursery we live the focus “Through the day with all senses”. The interaction of all senses is the basis for the overall development of the child.
We work in a need- and situation-oriented manner and across groups in order to be able to respond to the mental and physical needs of the children. After an individual settling-in period, the children themselves choose their play partners, environment and impulses.
The emotional wellbeing of the children is always a priority for us. Only when the children feel accepted and secure, they can concentrate on their daily routine in the nursery and holistic learning can take place. In our pedagogical work and in the prepared environment we address as many of the children’s senses as possible. Because differentiated processes of perception form the basis for structured action and thinking.
